Child Safety Standards

Apex Society has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to maintaining a safe environment and complying with all applicable Australian and international laws protecting minors.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Apex Society and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities:

• Any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors
• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of any kind
• Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors
• Sharing, distributing, or requesting CSAM or exploitative content involving minors
• Any content that depicts minors in a sexual manner

Age Requirements

Apex Society is intended for users aged 17 and older. Users must be at least 17 years of age to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.

Detection and Reporting

Apex Society employs the following measures to detect and address CSAE:

• In-app reporting: All users can report any content, post, message, or profile via the Report function available on every piece of content and user profile within the app.
• Review: All reports are reviewed by our team and action is taken promptly.
• Law enforcement cooperation: We report CSAM and CSAE to the Australian Federal Police (AFP), the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE), and the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
• Account termination: Accounts found to violate this policy are immediately suspended and permanently banned.

How to Report

In the app: Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any post, profile, or message and select Report. Select the relevant reason and submit.

By email: Send reports to hello@apex-societyapp.com with the subject line "Child Safety Report". Include as much detail as possible.

External: You can also report directly to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) or NCMEC CyberTipline.

Compliance

Apex Society complies with all relevant child safety laws, including but not limited to:

• Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth) — child exploitation material provisions
• Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth)
• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable
• Google Play and Apple App Store child safety policies
